McCurley's English Shepherds
We are a family of 6 with 3 wonderful English Shepherd dogs on our homestead in SC. JoJo is our oldest ES, male clear sable/white 2 years old from Joe Wilson of Georgia. Mercy is one of our female ES, black/tan 2 years old from Connie Wright in VA. Ella is our youngest ES, female tricolor 8 months old from Green Mountain English Shepherds in NC.
Jo-Jo: Color: clear sable and white. 55 lbs 23"
Coat: thick and dense, straight, sheds dirt immediately.
Build: very balanced proportions, very agile and light on feet, beautiful chest and neck.
Markings: very symmetrical; large, full collar.
Personality: Very devoted and loving to family, but a bit "stand-offish" with strangers at first until he knows the family is introduced then he's very affectionate (has a sense to protect). Strong natural instinct to "keep eye on farm." He is not one to pick a fight, but he will stand his ground. Very stable. Good with other dogs, chickens, etc. Responsive to commands, but a bit independent-minded. Great with kids.

Build: heavier bone mass and bit longer bodied.
Markings: standard black and tan face with white on chest and all 4 paws have tan with white spots.
Personality: happy, friendly, sensitive, loving; extremely obedient and east to train; neither dominant nor timid -- never aggresive; would make friends with any person or animal. Good nurturing traits, great mother to her puppies and the children (if they were hers).
